ABOUT THE IDF
The 2010 legislative calendar is boiling with issues crucial to BOMA members. Now is the time to get involved and get energized! Now more than ever, state legislatures and regulatory agencies are poised to impact the commercial real estate industry. Increasingly, "hot" issues often take root in numerous legislatures simultaneously. State and local trends, whether motivated by public officials or private interests, play a larger role in advocacy programs across a wide spectrum of organizations.
To address this growing impact on national, state and local levels, BOMA Orange County has established an Industry Defense Fund. Current issues include but are not limited to: Carried Interest Tax Treatment, Commercial Real Estate Credit Crisis, Energy Efficiency Incentive Programs, Federalization of Building Codes, Leasehold Depreciation, Climate Legislation (such as AB 32), and Repeal of Prop 13 protections for Commercial Buildings.
BOMA strives to protect interests of the commercial real estate industry and we appreciate your contributions and involvement.

Registration and sponsorships are guaranteed on a first come first serve basis and must be accompanied with payment or guaranteed by a credit card. While sponsorship information is updated on a regular basis, marketing information may not reflect the actual availability. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on April 27 (10 business days before the event). Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of submitting registration and before April 13 to qualify for a refund. Sponsorships are not refundable.
