Werner Escher
Mr. Escher is Executive Director of Domestic and International Markets, responsible for all company programs that affect the domestic and international, business and leisure market, specifically aimed to the travel/visitor. Embarking on his 40th year with the Company, he continues to direct Marketing, Public Relations and Communications programs that go beyond the core market, and provides professional guidance and support to the parent organization, C.J. Segerstrom and Sons. Graduate of UCLA, Bachelors Degree in English, teaching credential and Masters Degree in Communications / Journalism. Mr. Escher has served on the Board of Directors of the UCLA Alumni Association, is Past President of the UCLA Journalism Alumni Association and served with the Armed Forces Press Services (AFPS) in Japan. He is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as a CMA (Certified Marketing Director).
Jim Proehl
Jim Proehl is Executive Vice President, Managing Director for the Western Division of PM Realty Group. As Managing Director, Mr. Proehl has the responsibility of managing a portfolio of over 25 million square feet in 11 western states with a staff of over 200 real estate professionals. Mr. Proehl has been with PM Realty Group since 1994, during which time his success with coordinating the repositioning of numerous projects has helped fuel the growth of the Western Division. He has over 25 years of diversified real estate experience which includes asset management for Metropolitan Life, and office development, finance, and property management with Williams Realty Corporation and Tooley & Company. Prior to PM Realty Group, Mr. Proehl held the position of Development Manager for Tooley & Company where he managed the development of two high-rise class A office buildings. As a Senior Asset Manager with Metropolitan, Jim managed a Colorado and Kansas commercial real estate portfolio valued at over $300 million, including 23 office buildings, a hotel, and two retail centers.
James Travers
James Travers is Chairman of Travers Realty Corporation. Over the last 38 years, Jim Travers has successfully concluded over $8 billion in real estate requirements and has been actively involved in 4,000+ real estate transactions and consulting assignments for over 2,000 clients. Mr. Travers has a national reputation as a leader in all issues pertaining to commercial real estate. His résumé reflects his expertise in every aspect of the industry, and his clients and his peers alike recognize the superior level of skill, commitment to clients’ needs, and vital energy that Jim brings to every Project. Since he began his career with the Edward S. Gordon company in New York City 35 years ago, Mr. Travers has been honored repeatedly. His name often appears in regional and national lists of “Superstar Brokers.”
John Combs
John Combs is Founder and Principal of RiverRock Real Estate Group, Inc., a West Coast-based commercial real estate service firm headquartered in Santa Ana, California. RiverRock services over 12 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties throughout California from 11 offices. John formed RiverRock in response to a market-driven need for a more client-centric property service model. RiverRock is based on innovative, client-focused standards for operational efficiency, customer service, fee structure, outsourcing, personnel and training. John serves as a member of BOMA Orange County’s Advisory Board, BOMA of Greater Los Angeles’ Government Affairs Committee, the National Advisory Council of BOMA and NAIOP and was the recipient of BOMA Orange County’s “Professional of the Year” Award for 2003. He is also a member of the California Receivers Forum. John is a frequent speaker and author on real estate-related topics.
