ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Shannon Alter, CPM®, is an expert in the management, operations and leasing of shopping centers and office buildings, with over 25 years of experience. She has created and developed property and asset management departments for a developer, an anchor retail tenant and a 1031 syndicator, both regionally and nationally, handling a 34,000,000-foot portfolio. She is a CPM® and has taught courses both nationally and internationally, including courses in Russia, Ukraine, China and South Korea.
Ms. Alter is also a speaker for a wide variety of national associations such as IREM, BOMA, ICSC, IFMA and NFMT. She has authored over two dozen articles, and her column, “Marketing Solutions” appears regularly in the Journal of Property Management (JPM). Her book, Strategies for Working with Small Tenants, was published this year. Her next book on presentation skills is on the way. Shannon has a proven track record in helping businesses increase client, tenant and customer satisfaction, develop successful marketing solutions and facilitate best practices through effective leadership. Ms. Alter is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
